scout in the morning

this is a character from a comic called 'The Uniques' which was created by Adam Withers and Comfort Love.

for this pinup i wanted to do something a little offbeat and retrospective. i like drawings of superheroes not looking like superheroes and that was kind of the inspiration here.

the style is a bit experimental for me (and rather abruptly different from the book) but i wanted to do something soft and pretty that felt like an early morning...traditionally most people use orangey sorts of themes for morning but i thought the warm pink worked.

i actually know next to nothing about this character but i figured being somber and somewhat detached in the morning is ALMOST universal (damn you if you're a morning person!). Comfort or Adam can feel free to correct me if this character is indeed a morning person.
