this one took a minute or two. not only did I simply spend a long time on it but it also had a billion layers and caused Photoshop to crash twice losing about an hour or so each time...I save often but there's only so much one man can do!

anyway, it's just a soldier character sitting on his vehicle. I had no real ideas going into this one other than the basic thought but it sort of develped along the way into being almost a bit post-apocalyptic I think.

I spent more time here than usual fleshing out my ideas and I liked the result. I'm always so rushed to knock out a new piece that I don't usually put this much effort forward but I think that I may have to start spending the extra time because I was happy with the result.

If you have read my journals lately, I wasn't lying when I said that I was going to try some new things...the first one I tried is "patience".
